MSB Carpentry & Construction is a carpentry and construction company based in St Columb and covering Cornwall. We take on full property renovations and refurbishments through to new build developments, and we look after every stage of the work.
Most of what we do is structural: loft conversions, timber frame houses and extensions built on site, roofs, and the complete carpentry on new homes for a local developer. If you have a new build, a renovation or a loft you want turned into a proper room, that is the work we are set up for.

What we are set up for
We concentrate on larger, structural jobs. These are the main ones.
Loft Conversions
New floors, stairs, stud walls, insulation, roof windows and dormers, taken through to doors, skirting and balustrades.
Timber Frame & Roof Framing
Timber frame houses, extensions and offices stick built on site, plus trussed and attic roofs.
Renovations & Refurbishments
Structural alterations, new layouts, plastering, doors, skirting and kitchens, taken to the decorating stage.
New Build Carpentry
Roof, soffits and fascias, cladding and complete first and second fix for developers and self-builders.
Garage Conversions & Outbuildings
Garage conversions clad and finished, offices built inside existing buildings, and timber frame structures built on site.

We come out, look at the roof space or the building and talk through what you want.
Price
A clear price for the whole job, based on your drawings where you have them.
Structure
Steels, joists, frames and stairs first, built straight so everything after sits right.
Finish
Boarding, plastering, doors and skirting, handed over ready for decorating.
